$_SERVER ip Internet MySpace by Joel H.
Chances are that the information that little box said it got from you is wrong. I've had those boxes before and they were just flat out false. I'm not sure on the exact process, but finding an IP address isn't that hard. All a computer has to do is ask your computer what it is. What the human does with that info, though, is a big deal. With an IP and a little more information and tools, they might be able to hack your computer. But the big odds are it was nothing.
Note: the link doesn't work because the profile is set to private.
$_SERVER ip Internet MySpace by Angela B
Whell... I was on my MySpace and I went to someone's profile and there was this little box that said "Ha! I got you! Your IP address is (had numbers) , your Internet server thing is Verizon, you're running Windows Vista and you're using FireFox." I'm pretty shure all that information was right... do they get your info from that? Is that a bad thing? Can they like hack your computer or anything from that?? I'm more curious than worried... HOW DOES SOMEONE GET SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON THEIR PAGE?? I've seen it on more than one page... I'll go to the profile it was on and provide the link... in a minute.
