You can play all the scales on the bass that you can on the guitar. A 4-string bass is basically just the bottom 4 strings of the guitar (E-A-D-G), but down an octave. Each fret moves the note up a half step, just like on the guitar. |

Hey, I know Music theory for regular guitars and was wondering does all that scale/riff construction stuff carry directly over to bass guitar, or does bass have different scales and stuff. thanks |
