Does it have multiple BNC inputs? There should be 5 - all 5 constitute a single input for high-definition TV - usually you will see this type of output from a DVD player and some of the better cable/satellite boxes. I've never seen them on a VCR though... I doubt that your Plasma has an f-type input, but I bet your VCR has a composite output - it's usually the yellow RCA-jack. Though they make special cables, generally just about any RCA cable will do - connect the composite output of your VCR to a composite input on the Plasma (it should have one of these, maybe Video 2 or 3, possibly on the front), along with the Red and White RCA cables for sound. You can actually buy a video cable that has all three connections for cheap at Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc...
Change your input appropriately and you should be good. |

F- type connection is RF, and is not compatible with BNC connection, which is baseband, or composite video. If you think you need to use the BNC connector, you will need a BNC to RCA adapter, and take the output from the VCR's yellow RCA output. |

I have a plasma TV (don't know what's the brand), and it has a BNC input. My VCR's output is F-type, so I bought an F-type to BNC adapter and connect my VCR to my TV, but it doesn't work. What's wrong? |
