>For your confidence boost, you need to clear your mind of negative thoughts of yourself. Be happy with who you are, and it'll show through with a high self-esteem.
>For flirting, I'm not so sure, but I would just smile a lot and wink at him. Laughing is good also, only at funny things though. Play punches might work, if he's a jock or athletic.
>I agree with you about dating in middle school. I did, and I wish I hadn't. I've already had my heart broken once. Then again, it prepares you for hs. Falling in love in high school is worse, because you have more hormones and are most likely to have sex.
>I think a good age to start dating is 15 or 16. They're well into their teen years and know their urges and how to control them.

Yeah, I agree. Most people I know that date have had at least 3 girlfriends. This one guy at my school (who thinks hes all cool) has had 3 girlfriends in five weeks. Yes, I think it's true how middle schoolers think they know love (like I did), but they only like people for looks. It should go deeper than that, but I don't think most middle schoolers are mature enough to understand that.

yes, i completely agree your just like i was in middle school. I think 15 or 16 is the right age but it depends on you. My tips for confidence is realize that a guy likes you bacuase you are the way you are so you must be doing something right. Be happy with yourself (your looks, your hobbies, your achievements, your humor, etc.) Your young, this is the time you make mistakes in approaching guys just be care free, you will encounter countless guys as you get older

Do whatever comes natural at the moment. Be cautious, but coy. Play things cool, and dont worry about all of it so much. You will act right when the time comes. Dont build things up in your imagination too big before they even happen. You cannot predict the future, so dont spend time worrying. Just let it happen, and make your moves then. It'll all be cool if you are. And not knowing all of this is half the fun involved in the whole experience. You will build confidence by being yourself and being a good judge of situations.

I am going into high school and I really want to gain confidence. I am perfectly find around my friends but I want to be more confident when it comes to guys. When a guy likes me and comes to talk to me, I don't want to get all red and shy like I used to. I want to be able to have confidence so I can get to know a guy more. Does anyone ahve any tips that could help me build my confidence for high school?

Also, what are some flirting tips for a teen girl?

Lastly, all my friends have had boyfriends, and I think it is ridiculous to be dating in middle school. I really don't thinks its necessary. Sixth graders are having boyfriends and they are always like I LOVE YOU when its not really love. I think that is completely dumb to "go out with" someone in middle school becase a) its not true love and b) you are going to get your heart broken. Do you agree? I have liked guys and guys have liked me, but I am not planning on dating until High School.
