How about spiritual dimension?
God is definitely not just in our four dimensions!
Time is not an issue for God. |

Well that is a hard question. I guess it's how you look at it. For me it would signal the proof of the string theory, or at least start to prove it. The string theory was a way to explain both gravity and elementary particles. In order for the string theory to work there would have to be more dimensions.
So maybe all things would be possible. General relativity says that the universe is like a sheet of fabric affected by large masses. It is supposed to explain why the planets stay in orbit. But this fabric cannot be torn. Well if you take into account quantum physics where everything is random and in this world it is possible to walk through a wall if you keep pushing because everything is possible due to multiple dimensions, then maybe there would be worm holes, ways to transport from one part of the universe to another because of a rip in the fabric of the universe, and looped strings travel fixing the ripped universe.
And it could then be possible for us to know what happens at a black hole. The reason we don't know is because general relativity and quantum physics counter each other. A black hole is said to be a star collapsed onto itself. This causes a large mass in a small area making you have to use calculations for both gravity and elementary particles. And these calculations don't work well with each other.
We may be able to find answers to our mysterious universe. And since quantum physics will play a part, anything could happen. |

It would not mean much...It is already difficult to see in 3Dimensions for humans, imagine in 4 and beyond... |

Theoretically, there is a 5th dimension, we just don't know how to use it. In fact there is a tenth dimension. See the video on the attached link. It is very interesting, but makes my head hurt... |

Imagine that a physicist were to prove today the existence of a fifth dimension (a fourth spatial dimension (time being the existing fourth dimension)). What would this mean for us, the human race?
Would it create new technology? Would it mean we would be able to do things that we were not able to do before? Quite simply, what would it mean? |
