I had a few while stationed in Germany, found the engines to be bullet proof but little undercoating and rusted easily. Had one engine I put in 3 different cars. Undercoating is a quick fix though.

Chrysler is not being bought by Fiat.

fiat wants to have a jointventure with Chrysler so that fiat can sell their new fiat 500 through Chrysler car dealerships in America.

And Fiat's have horrible reliability. But good quality in terms of materials use.

Actually mate, most if not all european manufacturers have much better built cars when compared to American ones. fiats are generally very lively cars. but the quality also depends on who makes the fiats. note that they are not always manufactured by fiat directly.

compared to other manufacturers, well, if you mean the germans, actually the germans are the best in the world when in comes to cars, no doubt.

remenber, fiat is the company that owns Ferrari, maserati, Alfa-Romeo, Lancia etc. so you bet they're gonna be better.

Now that Chrysler is being bought out by Fiat's car quality like compared to Honda, Toyota ?
