If you don't have a surround system with speakers and sub woofer, all you will get is the surround sound from the tv which isn't even close to what a surround system gives you. Spend some more money and buy a receiver and speakers if you already have the blu ray. If you don't, buy a blu ray 5.1 surround sound system |

hdmi Home Theater PlayStation by Justin You need to purchase a Home Theater in a box or a separate receiver and a set of speakers. This will depend on weather you want a 5.1 or a 7.1 surround sound. Most tv program are in stereo and only those programs with the Dolby Digital have surround sound information. Home Theater in a box are not flexible in adding other equipment to it. Take a look at the Onkyo HT-S5200 and the S6200. It is a 7.1 receiver and a set of 7.1 speaker set up. Hope this will help you out. |
