Get the Premium. They come with hdmi outputs on the back of the consoles. As for the difference of hdmi and component, component CAN support 1080p, but it won't be TRUE HD because when your using component cables, you'll be seeing analog audio and video. hdmi is the ULTIMATE source a for TRUE 1080p HD picture, and DIGITAL 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound. Well, that's the difference between the two. Now about the "no empty hdmi slots" crack, if your HDTV AT LEAST has a spare RGB input, then you can get Microsoft's VGA HD AV cable for about $39.99. The picture will be AMAZING. WAYYYY better than component, but NOT as good as HDMI, though. |

If you do not use the hd cables you will playing in standard definition because component cables are not capable of transferring the neccesary hd signal to your television. Get the premium 360 bundle. It is well worth the extra cash, not just for the wires, but a wireless controller and hard drive. And you will be buying a hard drive sooner or later. Have fun with it, I love mine. |

I have a 56" 1080P DLP and I'm wondering which Xbox 360 to buy. If there's no difference then I would just use component cables because I have no more empty hdmi slots on my tv. Plus I would have to buy the Xbox hdmi cable so I can connect optical cable to my receiver. |
