michael buble Jazz by Teaim I'll just say that michael buble is definitely NOT jazz. Yes, I know that his CDs are in the Jazz section of the store, but he is not jazz. I'll bet that Buble, himself, would tell you he's not jazz. |

michael buble Jazz by pianojazz man Glenn Miller played big band swing music and since there was improvisation involved- the sound of his music was jazz. buble is NOT a Jazz singer! He is a pop/commercial vocalist. For a great Jazz singer-listen to Mark Murphy--then you can hear the difference! |

michael buble Jazz by Bix Most people know Glenn Miller from his big band period. This can't be considered as jazz. Serious Jazz enthusiasts don't consider it as jazz, at least not as good jazz. It's good pop of the early 1940s with Jazz elements (improvisations). His earlier recordings are unfortunately not known to the general public and those are jazz. Superb jazz!
