team leader conference by ddrumAre you the only drummer? If it is you or nothing that puts a bit more pressure on you to do it I guess, but I would never have played in front of people after 5 months of drumming. Honesty is the best policy right? |

team leader conference by Andy i had this same prob well i felt comfortable but i did not want to drum for a crappy praise band my pastor was pressuring me do to just tell him straight up no i don't want to i don't feel comfortable if he doesn't understand then he is no praise team leader if he keeps trying to pressure you go off on him |

team leader conference by Black Falcoln If your absolutely positive that you don't want to do it, then just tell your praise team leader that you appreciate the offer, but you don't think you are ready. Nobody can make you do it if you're not comfortable with it. |

team leader conference by over the air so there's a church conference this saturday, and my church is doing the music and i have to drum. i've only been drumming for about 5 months and i've only gotten the basics down and i really just don't want to drum for the conference because i don't think i'm ready to do that kind of stuff. like i've really thought about this decision and i still have no idea if i'm making the right choice. but the thought of drumming just pretty much sends my stress levels flying. so how should i tell my praise team leader? |
