unlocked iphone 3g by the-knower-of-all It would be better to buy an ipod touch because when u buy an iphone u have to sign up with a contract unlike the touch but the only bad thing about the touch is that u have to be in a wi-fi spot to use the internet.GPS,and access the app store |

unlocked iphone 3g by jpbjr21 you would have to put in a sim card from another company if you dont want AT&T. even if it is unlocked you still need a sim card and the plan that the sim card has is what you will get. if your other company sim card doesnt have 3G... chances are that your iphone wont either. |

unlocked iphone 3g by Pat You can't buy the phone without activating it in store. So therefore, you would need to sign up for a 2 year contract (which you could break at any time for the huge fee). The 3G internet will not work without cell service. GPS will rely on the cell service too so that would be out. New apps connect to iTunes, so I do not know how that will work. |

unlocked iphone 3g by Black Blade So I am trying to decide between getting an unlocked 3G iphone and an iPod touch. If I got a 3G iphone and unlocked it (and had no service), could I use the GPS? The 3G internet? The new apps? Also, how hard is it to get a iphone 3G, not get service, and unlock it? |
